DRIVING:

...from Manchester or anywhere north of Sale

From Manchester City Centre take the A56 south towards Sale and Altrincham, or if you are near to the M60 motorway (which circles Manchester) take the motorway and come off at junction 7 onto the A56 heading towards towards Sale and Altrincham.

Once you go past the sign indicating that you have entered Sale, look out for signs to the Town Centre and Sale Metrolink Station and turn left onto Ashfield Road (at the junction with Topps Tiles and Sainsburys on the left). Follow that road round to the right, keeping in the left hand lane and turn left at the traffic lights. You will go past the town hall on your left and Sale Metrolink Station on your right. Immediately past these landmarks, take the first turning right into Hope Road. Drive past a small row of shops including Jack's DIY. Once past the shops you'll go past Era Street on your left and the next street on the left is Baxter Road. Go down Baxter road and number 32 is just over half way down the street on the right. There is plenty of free on-street parking directly outside the house.

...from Altrincham or anywhere south of Sale

Take the A56 towards Sale and Manchester. Once you are close to Sale look for the right hand turning onto Marsland Road (signposted Sale Rugby Club and Brooklands Metrolink Station). Turn down Marsland Road, then, just after crossing the river and going past the metro station turn left at the traffic lights onto Hope Road. Baxter Road is then the 6th turning on the right. Number 32 is just over half way down the street on the right. There is plenty of free on-street parking directly outside the house.
