Sessions are charged at £60 per hour, whether face-to-face or online via video call.
All sessions must be paid for in advance, at the time of booking, by BACS. Bank details will be supplied when a first appointment is made.
Cancellation Policy.
I’m aware that circumstances may arise which mean that a booking needs to be rearranged for another time or day and on very rare occasions I might even have to do that myself. In order that we can plan our time accordingly and as a courtesy to both of us, however, I ask that any changes are made with a minimum of 48 hours notice. For under 48 hours notice, I have in place a mutually beneficial cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made by you within 48 hours of an appointment are charged at 50% of the fee. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment are charged in full.
- If I need to reschedule within 48 hours of an appointment the rescheduled appointment will be charged at 50% of the fee. If I cancel within 24 hours of the appointment I will provide the rescheduled session free of charge.
A few guidelines.
Most clients book 1 – 3 hours at a time, although discounts are available for half or full days. Sessions take place at my dedicated office / rehearsal space at my home in Wallasey, Merseyside.
If you’re a professional actor preparing for a specific audition you’re only likely to need one 2-hour session, for those applying to drama school probably 5 to 20 sessions depending on how many pieces you need, how much work you do at home and how organised you are. If you’re wishing to improve your acting technique, sight-reading, presentation, etc more generally you might wish to come for regular sessions until you reach your chosen goal.
Whatever your circumstances there is, of course, no long-term commitment and you’re welcome to come along for 1 session to see how you feel about it before committing to further appointments. If you’d like to attend with a friend or associate to work as a pair I can easily accommodate that too – at no extra cost.
